This Privacy Policy explains how Jeff Palicki Photography (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses and shares information when you visit www.jeffpalickiphotography.com (the “Site”), place an order, or contact us. By using the Site, you agree to this Privacy Policy. It should be read together with our Terms and Conditions.
Information we collect
- Information you provide. When you place an order or contact us, we collect details such as your name, email address, phone number, the school, sport and order details you enter, and any photos or files you upload for your graphic.
- Payment information. Payments are processed by our third-party payment processor (Stripe) through our checkout. Your full card details are entered directly with the payment processor; we do not store your full payment card number on our servers.
- Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we automatically collect certain technical information through cookies and similar technologies — such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed and how you interact with the Site — using analytics tools (see below).
Photos you upload and images of minors
Many of our customers are student-athletes, and orders often include photos of minors. If you are under 18, an order should be placed by a parent or legal guardian, or with their permission. By uploading a photo, you confirm that you have the right to provide it and to authorize its use as described in our Terms and Conditions. We use uploaded photos to create and deliver your order, and — consistent with those Terms — may feature finished work in our portfolio and marketing. If you would like a finished graphic removed from our marketing, contact us and we will honor reasonable requests.
How we use your information
- To create, fulfill and deliver your order and provide customer support;
- To communicate with you about your order, respond to inquiries and send order-related messages;
- To operate, maintain, secure and improve the Site;
- To showcase finished work in our portfolio and marketing, as described in our Terms and Conditions;
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.
Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the Site so we can improve it. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects information such as your IP address and browsing activity. You can control cookies through your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics using Google’s browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. For more information, see Google’s privacy policy.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as needed to run our business, including with:
- Service providers who help us operate the Site and fulfill orders — for example, our website host, our payment processor (Stripe), and email and analytics providers (such as Google);
- Legal and safety purposes — when required by law, to enforce our Terms, or to protect our rights, property or safety and that of others.
Data retention
We keep order information and uploaded files for as long as needed to fulfill your order, provide support, keep business records and comply with legal obligations. You may ask us to delete files we no longer need (see “Your choices” below).
Your choices and rights
You may ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or ask that we stop using a finished graphic in our marketing. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) or the EU/UK GDPR. To make a request, contact us using the details below. We will respond as required by applicable law.
Children’s privacy
The Site is intended for use by adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. Orders involving a minor should be placed by a parent or legal guardian. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us personal information directly, please contact us and we will delete it.
Security
We take reasonable measures to protect the information we collect. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Third-party links
The Site may link to third-party websites or services (such as social media). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties, and we encourage you to review their policies.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above shows when it was last revised, and the current version always governs.
